“O taste and see that the LORD is good…” Psalm 34:8

Most of us live such busy lives that it is difficult for us to stop long enough to even taste our food! But in the midst of such busyness the Bible still says to us, “taste and see that the Lord is good.”

Recently we hosted our Hindi Pastors conference in North India. It was a highlight of their year to gather together to worship the Lord and share their testimonies with one another, to take time out to taste the flavour of the fruits that were produced.

As we come to the end of the year, during this busy Christmas and New Year period, I would like urge each of us to take time to reacquaint ourselves with ‘the Lord’s taste’. Enjoy!

We can be so focused on the task at hand, so busy and so consumed by the needs and challenges around us, that we can fail to appreciate what the ‘Lord tastes like’.
